Are you a passionate engineering graduate looking to help accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles as we work towards a net zero future?

With global net-zero emissions targets fast approaching, Ricardo is looking for the next generation of graduates to join our electrification team who want to make a difference to the world we live in. You will be using your specialist knowledge in electrical, electronic, automotive, mechatronic, aerospace, mechanical, or software engineering to consult with our clients to come up with innovative solutions to their electrification challenges.

Our scheme is IMechE and IET accredited.

How does the scheme work?

Our 2-year graduate scheme is an accelerated development programme which will see you working with a global multi-disciplinary team of engineering experts in Europe, Asia and North America.

As well as being able to specialise in your chosen field, you will have the opportunity to do up to 4 placements around the business to gain experience in other disciplines. There is also the potential for international placements.

We offer many opportunities for you to continue your professional development. You will have regular check-ins with feedback on your progress and recognition and celebration for your success. We also support you to work towards your CEng or IEng qualification with fees covered and mentorship provided.

Required

  • Minimum of 2:1 in a degree which specialises in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronic engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or computer science
  • A strong desire to work in the automotive industry

Beneficial

  • A master’s degree which specialises in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronic engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or computer science
  • Relevant work experience
  • Interest in a mechanical engineering hobby such as motorsport, restoration projects and/or formula student
  • Interest in electrification
  • A second European language
