To meet the world’s increasing requirement for innovative technological and engineering solutions, Ricardo is looking to recruit highly qualified graduates from the following engineering disciplines:

  • Mechanical
  • Automotive
  • Electronic
  • Software
  • Hardware
  • Manufacturing

Successful candidates will have a minimum 2:1 degree and ideally a PhD, MSc, MEng or BEng to work as part of a multinational and multidisciplined team. We are looking to recruit self-motivated engineers with a strong desire to work within the automotive industry demonstrated through workplace experience or outside interests.

We will also consider candidates who have undertaken relevant work experience and are particularly interested in those who have a second European language. Evidence of interest in the following would be an advantage:

  • Motorsport
  • Restoration projects
  • Formula Student

Our graduate recruitment campaigns begin in January each year with open days that run through to May.  Formal graduate intakes usually occur in the autumn, with the number of recruits varying each year according to business needs.

New graduate pathways available for 2018

We are pleased to announce that we have launched two new graduate pathways for 2018 - Virtual Product Development and Manufacturing Graduate. More information on each of the new roles can be found below.

Virtual Product Development

This is a unique opportunity for newly qualified graduates who can demonstrate excellence in digital modelling techniques ( developming of modelling methods and their exploitation).

As a successful applicant you will rotate across:

  • Software
  • Simulation and modelling
  • Analysis

In addition you will experience an international placement in one of these fields.

At the end of the 24-month scheme you will be able to choose in which area you would like to further your career.

Manufacturing Graduate

We are looking to recruit highly qualified manufacturing graduates who from the outset, will be working on specialist manufacturing projects, consulting and dealing with clients. Ricardo's manufacturing division aims to provide excellent services across all clients based in the high performance vehicle and motorsports sector. Your placements will be in a variety of teams within our manufacturing division.

Industrial Placements and Internships

 

Ricardo UK offers Internships and year long Industrial Placements to university students. This is an excellent opportunity to apply the theory of your degree to real engineering challenges. Placement students are permanent employees with full benefits doing real project work.
