The Ricardo Taipei office is located in the city centre of Ximending, close to the Wanhua shopping district.

Our team is made up of over 15 experienced consultants and specialist admin who provide support to the rail industry in Taiwan and throughout Asia.

Being a part of the Ricardo group, we provide all our staff opportunities locally and abroad to build on their experience and develop their careers.

Social activities include team dinners, hiking and occasionally tours with family.

A team briefing and lunch is held monthly to provide updates on performance, celebrate successes and understand the upcoming challenges.

Commute

The office is easily accessed by public transport:
 
Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT)
Green Line (Songshan-Xindian Line) or Blue Line (Bannan Line) – Depart at Ximen Station, take the Exit 4.
 
High Speed Rail
Take the High-Speed Rail from Taoyuan to Taipei Main Station, then take the MRT to Ximen Station Exit 4.
 
The office is a 5-minute walk from the MRT station.

Site information

The Ricardo Taipei office is located near the Ximending shopping centre which has been hailed the "Harajuku" of Taipei. This pedestrian shopping haven is part of the city's central culture, hosting a massive variety of fashionable clothing shops and eclectic restaurants, clubs, and bars.

It's one of the most popular destinations for tourists, and accessible from Exit 4 of Ximen Station, 5 minutes walk from Ricardo Taipei office. The area is very popular with tourists and locals alike and is famous for its street performances and exhibitions.

The Chengzhong Market is also nearby, and is known to the older generation as a treasure-hunting paradise. This market offers shops and stands selling clothing, accessories, general supplies and food. Due to its variety of products and location between the Ximen and Taipei Main Station Shopping Districts, it has something for everyone.

Taipei is a mecca for the adventurer and nature lovers. Bisected by northeast Asia’s highest mountains and with the rushing rivers and sheer cliffs of the east coast, this hidden paradise of outdoor pursuits is starting to attract more adventurous people from Asia and the rest of the world. As well as a haven for trekkers and mountaineers, the island also offers excellent conditions for a range of activities, from mountain biking and kayaking to paragliding and surfing, with many grassroots operators springing up to meet the needs of people.

Yangmingshan National Park is one of Taiwan’s eight national parks. Originally known as Grass Mountain. In addition to extensive open land filled with flora and fauna, the park is also home to an extinct volcano, the Seven Star Mountain. Other essential sights include hot springs, cherry blossom trees, sulfur deposits, venomous snakes, fumaroles, and numerous hiking trails.

Apartment rental is approximately NTD$20,000 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, inclusive of a study, kitchen and living room area.

Cheaper accommodation options are available outside of the city area with accessibility maintained via the MRT.
