Our locations

Munich employees

The Munich office is home to the Ricardo Strategic Consulting team. Coming from a mixed technical and business consultancy background, they help our clients across the full breadth of management challenges. This includes, future proofing strategies as well as efficiency improvement projects and supporting clients in due diligence activities.

The office highlight of the year is attending Oktoberfest together and enjoying the local festivities. We also typically attend major automotive and motorcycles exhibitions such as IAA in Frankfurt and EICMA in Milan. Since most of the team are also avid car and motorcycle fans, we organise weekend driving/riding trips to the nearby lakes and mountains.

The office is directly at the Ubahn station: Königsplatz – or a 5 minute walk from the main train station. If you are arriving from the airport the trip will take roughly 40 minutes with Sbahn or 30 minutes by car, although that can extend to1 hour depending on traffic conditions. The office also benefits from parking facilities.

Site information

Our office is located in Lenbach Gärten which is considered one of the most exclusive and most elegant, award-winning premium city districts in Munich. Situated between Karlsplatz, Königsplatz and the main train station – embedded in large green areas - located directly at the Old Botanical Garden it is home to several consulting companies, software providers and startups.

Munich has an abundance of sports facilities which some of our team use, for example fitness clubs such as Elements or Fitness First which have branches distributed quite well over the city. There are also multiple sports clubs which cater to specific tastes, such as kickboxing, cross fit, rock climbing, etc.

The office is ideally located 10 minutes away from the city centre, eg: Karlsplatz with a further 5-minute walk taking you to the main shopping boulevard all the way up to the major sights in Munich such as Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz and the Frauenkirche. The city centre caters to a wide range of cuisines but one should definitely try the variety of breweries which serve traditional Bavarian food and beer.

Munich accomodation

Munich is widely known to be one of the most, if not the most expensive city in Germany. A typical two-bedroom apartment will set you back a minimum of 1700euro per month within a 5km radius from the office. Buying of course depending on the district and distance from the city centre realistically will start at 300,000 euro for a single bedroom apartment in town.
