Ali Almouslfeh Business Development Manager

What do you do at Ricardo?

I support the Business Development and project management for delivering our services to Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR).

Congratulations - you've just received a qualification. Tell us more!

I’m very happy and extremely proud to share that I have achieved MSc Railway Systems Engineering & Integration from the University of Birmingham. I would like to thank everyone who supported me through that journey: the Ricardo Rail senior management, colleagues and thanks to my family. Indeed,it is a fantastic achievement after three years of hard work!

What do you like most about your job?

The working environment and the teamwork with our colleagues from different overseas offices, for example: the United Arab Emirates, the UK, the Netherlands, Australia and Asia by the supervision and management of our General Manager Daniel Wardle and Rail Certification Director, Richard Gibney.

How do you keep your work interesting and fun for yourself and with your colleagues?

I keep my work interesting by participating in most of the projects while we have colleagues traveling to Saudi to support delivery, attending meetings, traveling with them into different cities/site visits, going out for dinner on different occasions.

What would you do if you were the boss of Ricardo Rail?

I will follow the same strategy of my current line manager and our General Manager in Saudi, motivation and passion to deliver the best quality to our customers, teamwork and be close to all the team members, always continuing to look after them.

What insight or suggestion would you like to share with your colleagues?

When you get the chance to share the knowledge and visit new clients in different countries, you need to read/learn about the different cultures.

What do you enjoy about working at Ricardo?

Just to say, Ricardo Rail is a very good company to work for, and I feel that my loyalty has been increasing over the last five years to the company and organisation as a whole.
